I just finished The Sending. No spoilers here, I just wanted to say:
1) It's amazing
2) Anyone know when The Red Queen is due for publication?
I can't wait for the next installment, and I'm going to feel SO lost when I've finished the series!

| Purchasing the Australian edition of The Sending |

Hello again,
I really want to buy The Sending now instead of waiting for the US edition to come out, whenever that may be, but I am having trouble finding a place that ships overseas. So far the only online bookstore that I have found that carries The Sending and ships overseas is fishpond.com.au. The shipping is really expensive, though, so I want to find something cheaper if I can.
Does anyone know an (Australian) online bookstore that might have The Sending that ships overseas?

| The Sending US Release |

I am a little confused about how the books are going to be separated. I know that The Red Queen will now be the final book, but since the US versions were already going to be separated into two books, will the US release of The Sending be two books, and then will The Red Queen be another two books?
The page count for the US release is a little more than two hundred pages less than the Australian release... I thought that was strange because that's not enough to make up a second book. I have the Australian edition of The Stone Key, and in that book, the text is very large and there is a lot of white space on the page. So, maybe there will be only one book for the US release, and the split will be the same in both editions?
I'm so confused! I've been reading everything I could find but I have not found anything that specifically answers this question. Does anyone have any information about this?
Also I have read that the release date for the US editions is November 8. Is this right? It isn't showing up on Amazon yet, and they usually have release dates listed way ahead of time.

versus The Stone Key and Wavesong (split into two novels)? Apart from being easier to handle? :)

You should be able to get it at any good bookshop AND you can have a look at the first two pages here at the HarperCollins website. |

| New IC Obernewtyn story coming out next year |

Hi everyone,
I thought you'd all like to know that there will be an Obernewtyn story published in 'Legends of Australian Fantasy' Anthology next year - it's edited by Jack Dann and Jonathan Strahan and the Isobelle Carmody story is about Hannah Seraphim ... so it goes way back into the past and talks about Cassie/Kasanda and the journey across the Blacklands that the Seeker will one day take ... It's out in June or July 2010. |
